RV Camp in the Smokies

Welcome to Up the Creek! We’re a Pigeon Forge campground offering an authentic camping experience – a true piece of paradise in the Great Smoky Mountains!

We do not have a swimming pool or fancy club house, but we do have the LARGEST RV sites on the most beautiful property outside of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

We are open for camping until January 4, 2026, the last check-in date being January 3, 2026.

We will begin taking reservations for 2026 ONLINE ONLY on January 5th at 9:oo a.m., est. We will begin taking reservations over the phone on January 12th at 10:00 a.m. Phone reservations will be available Monday-Thursday, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., est.

We will be open for camping March 12, 2026 – January 3rd, 2027 (last check-in day on January 2nd).

Spacious and Beautiful!

If you’d like a spacious site and natural beauty, Up the Creek Campground is definitely the way to go! Unfortunately, many of the campgrounds in Pigeon Forge are packed tightly and nothing but concrete. This camp has beautiful landscaping, mature trees, the creek going all the way around the campground, and natural beauty to enjoy.

The only drawback is that there is no bathhouse or restroom available, so your unit must be self-contained. Aside from that, everything about this place was absolutely perfect.

Enchanting!

The camp is bordered by two crystal clear flowing creeks that produced a stunning view from our RV. Large lots with plenty of shade trees created the kind of privacy seldom found at most RV camps. It is quiet and clean with nice level lots, which included table and chairs, fire pit, and slab. What made this park unique was that it was only minutes from the main attractions, while still maintaining its “in the country” atmosphere. Coupled with a friendly and accommodating staff, I give this park five stars!

We had a most enjoyable vacation. Thank you very much, we cannot wait to return!

I Can’t Recommend it Enough!

We loved it here immensely and after seeing other RV parks, no one holds a candle to this place. We realize we got very lucky finding Up the Creek and have been spoiled!! When they tell you the sites are spacious, they are accurate. They have many shaded and private sites as well. This place is serene, quiet, tranquil, and we have never stopped coming back. We’ve never been able to find another campground that compares with this one, thus we have never been able to stay anywhere else!

All of our dealings with the owners have been top notch.

Up the Creek RV Camp is just a hop, skip and a jump away from tons of great places for the whole family to visit! Take the kids to Dollywood for some good old fashioned Country fun, or head on over to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for some outstanding hiking.
