Our campground is close to many popular attractions including Dollywood, music theaters, outlet malls, fine dining, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Surrounded by two mountain creeks and tall shade trees, our peaceful setting is just minutes from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, yet feels centuries away. Near the Wears Valley entrance to the National Park at Metcalf Bottoms, we are just off of Wears Valley Rd. and Walden Creek Rd., near the confluence of Cove Creek and Walden Creek. The Walden Creek area offers sweeping views of Chilhowee Mountain from its lush Tennessee valley.

Less than one mile from the RV Camp on Walden Creek Rd., there is a gas station and convenience store, Fresh Market, Bake Shop, and Pizzeria. Nearby outdoor activities include hiking, fishing and scenic driving in the National Park, and several paved bike paths in Pigeon Forge and Townsend. DIRECTIONS:

We recommend accessing UP THE CREEK RV CAMP from Interstate 40, EXIT 407 and through Pigeon Forge, TN, (U.S. 441 S.). Other routes exist, but tend to be curvy or steep, and may not be R.V.-friendly. GPS routes have led people down roads that we consider difficult for R.V.s to negotiate.

DIRECTIONS FROM I-40, EXIT 407: Turn right on to Winfield Dunn Parkway/Hwy 66/U.S. 441. Follow 441 South toward Pigeon Forge. At Traffic Light #3 in Pigeon Forge, turn right onto Wears Valley Rd. (U.S. 321). Follow Wears Valley Rd. 2.5 miles to third traffic light. Turn right onto Walden's Creek Rd. Pass the BP gas station on your right and go approximately 1/2 mile and take the next left onto Little Valley Rd. Cross bridge over Walden Creek and we are immediately on the left.
